Top Places for Hot Chocolate in Delhi, India

It is National Hot Chocolate Day today! So sharing some places in Delhi, my hometown that have the best hot chocolate. Plus, having some hot chocolate is a great way to stay warm and cosy in the winters!

1.Cafe Dori

A quaint little place tucked inside Dhan Mill compound in Delhi near Chattarpur, Cafe Dori serves a heavenly cup of dark hot chocolate. It is a perfect blend of creamy and delicious leaving you with a taste of dark chocolate. The hot chocolate comes with a toasted marshmallow and I would highly recommend ordering the hot chocolate with a toasted marshmallow since there is an option not to order one. But please do and you will thank me later!

I have been to Cafe Dori several times to have their hot chocolate and it never disappoints, it tastes the same every time. For that reason, it is on the top of my list!

2.Paul’s

From the french capital of Paris, this hot chocolate is a never miss.

I remember having this hot chocolate during my trips to Paris. There was a Paul’s at every train station and airport. Even one in London! That being said, when Paul’s opened up in Delhi, I just had to go there and try the hot chocolate and I was not disappointed. It took me back to my wonderful childhood memories of sipping hot chocolate while traveling and being in Paris. This hot chocolate is not too thick or not too milky, it is the perfect ratio of chocolate and milk. So, do give it a try!

3.Colocal

The hot chocolate from a chocolate factory has to be good, right? Duh! This hot chocolate is a bit milky in texture and not thick but comes in all flavors from dark to milk. They even have white milk chocolate! I tried the Dark Hot Chocolate though and liked it. I would also recommend trying their cold hot chocolate and their sumptuous chocolate desserts.

4. Chocolateria San Churro

If a thick hot chocolate is your idea of a cup of hot chocolate then Chocolateria San Churro is the best place for you to go for a cuppa. You will need a spoon to scoop out the hot chocolate and it might be a messy experience but trust me it will be worth it. I would also recommend ordering their signature churros. You can dunk those in the hot chocolate and have them. This hot chocolate is a meal in itself and a perfect finish to a long day. So head on there for a great finish to your day.

Also, if you are stuck at home but still want to enjoy hot chocolate, I would suggest ordering a hot chocolate mix from Tiggle. They have a great hot chocolate mix that you can at home to your liking with easy to follow instructions. My mouth is already watering while I type this :)
